The Office of Labor Relations

The Office of Labor Relations (OLR) represents the Mayor in the conduct of all labor relations between the City of New York and labor organizations representing employees of the City.

In addition, OLR administers the Employee Health Benefits Program, Management Benefits Fund, NYC Employee Assistance Program, Medicare Reimbursement Program and the Tax-Favored Benefits & Citywide Programs including the Deferred Compensation Plan and the NYCE IRA. 

Deferred Compensation Plan

The New York City Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP) is an employee benefit available to New York City employees.  DCP is comprised of two programs: a 457 Plan and a 401(k) Plan. Eligible employees may select either the 457, the 401(k), or both.
